Summer Mixer Has Lots In Store!
Join Us for Good Times in Old Town
Yes, summer is here, and it’s time for the Arts Council’s Summer Creative Mixer, where food, wine, friends and fun all come together in the name of the arts! Who could resist that?
Head to the Old Town General Store
Please join us, along with our host Rhea Van Atta, on Thursday, July 16 from 6-8 p.m. to mix and mingle with fellow artists and members of the arts community and sample her store’s unique offerings.
Bring Your Wallet!
As always, this is a FREE event, and light appetizers and wine from the General Store stock will be provided. However, the store is brimming with everything from unique, locally handcrafted gifts and cards to specialty coffees, fine wines, Michigan beers and even homemade pasties. You may stumble upon a must have for yourself or someone else.
Music in the Courtyard!
Take a seat and enjoy some music as Lansing local artist Cindy McElroylends her beautiful voice and guitar skills to serenade us all. A favorite around the Lanisng area, Cindy uses her folk roots to create her own blend of original music and tell life’s stories.
Drive, walk or bike…
The Old Town General Store is located in the heart of Old Town at 408 E. Grand River Ave., Lansing, Michigan. Parking for this event is available in the lot adjacent to the store, along Grand River Ave. and at the Cesar Chavez lot (where Turner and Grand River meet,) just a few blocks from the store. There are also several bike racks available for our biking friends.
