When you join the Arts Council, you become a member of a community that supports and respects the work that you do. The Arts Council exists to support you, and in turn, your membership helps us achieve our mission – to support, strengthen and promote arts, culture, and creativity in the capital region.

New members can join at any time; however, the sooner you join, the more benefits you will be able to receive!

Membership Categories

There is a membership for everyone, and each has their own additional benefits, listed below. To join you must be an artist, arts organization or creative who resides in Ingham, Clinton, or Eaton counties.

NOTE: Membership in all categories is based on the calendar year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31).
