Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

The Arts Council of Greater Lansing Diversity & Inclusion Committee’s mission is to cultivate opportunities which will maximize the natural and dynamic relationship among arts, culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Arts Council of Greater Lansing works to create an inclusive culture that represents the diverse population of our region. Ensuring that our calls to artists and our funding opportunities are accessible to all is the foundation of our mission. We were honored to be part of the Arts and Culture workgroup in setting goals for the Mayor’s 2021 Racial Justice and Equity Report and will continue to educate ourselves regarding best practices for accessibility and inclusion.
