Arts Council Call for Teaching Artists

Arts Council Call for Teaching Artists

Apply Today for Artists-in-Residence Program

Call for Artists
The Arts Council is seeking teaching artists interested in participating in the Artists-in-Residence Program. The application process will work to identify 6 – 8 teaching artists committed to inspiring creativity through quality arts experiences in dance, music, visual art and theatre.

Chosen artists will be placed on a web-based Artist Roster which classroom teachers can use to find a teaching artist that meets their classroom needs.

Teaching Artists must be professional artists with expertise in one or more arts disciplines who have previously worked with children and teachers in educational settings.

Please note: Teaching artists chosen to be placed on the Artists-in-Residence roster are not guaranteed a paid placement with Lansing School District. Teaching-artist positions will be filled based on teacher need and selection.
