Meet Sarah

Sarah Arredondo is a talented artist, professional photographer, and graphic designer who has made a significant impact in the art industry in Old Town and the greater Lansing Area. With a bachelor’s of Fine Art degree from Saginaw Valley State University, specializing in photography and graphic design, Sarah’s passion for creativity has been a driving force throughout her career.

Before opening Katalyst Art Gallery and Gift Boutique in 2010, Sarah honed her skills in the newspaper industry, where she worked as a photographer and graphic designer. This experience allowed her to develop a keen eye for capturing moments and telling stories through her art. Sarah’s artistic journey also includes a memorable stint at Seasons, a boutique in Okemos, Michigan. Her time there sparked a desire to merge her fine art background with the charming atmosphere of a boutique, further fueling her creative endeavors.

At Katalyst Art Gallery and Gift Boutique, Sarah has created a haven for art enthusiasts, featuring the works of over 300 local artists alongside captivating pieces from artists around the world. With a carefully curated selection that blends retail and museum-quality pieces, her gallery has become a must-visit destination for art lovers.
