Arts Council of Greater Lansing offers arts scholarship program for youth to attend local arts organizations
The Arts Council of Greater Lansing announces the expansion of SmArts for Kids to include a new Arts Scholarship Program. Offering increased access to arts education for youth, the Arts Council of Greater Lansing invites parents of students in grades K-12 who demonstrate a financial need to apply by April 1 for a scholarship to offset the cost of an arts education experience provided by the 2013 SmArts for Kids -Arts Scholarship Program Participating Organizations, including:

Awards selected will cover the full cost of summer programs and are funded by the Arts Council of Greater Lansing through its Arts Advancement Endowment Fund. The Arts Council of Greater Lansing works to advocate for and advance arts and culture in our region, including promotion of the numerous opportunities available for youth and young adults in the arts.
