Three Important Grant Deadlines on the Horizon!

It’s hard to believe that we are already looking at grant deadlines for 2015, but we have  three that are fast approaching, and we want to make sure you have all the info you need for success!

Ingham County Hotel/Motel

The Ingham County Hotel/Motel Funds for Arts and Tourism Grant provides monies to non-profit organizations that are located in Ingham County to apply for funding to assist in producing publicity and promotional materials that will attract out-of-county visitors into the Ingham County region for cultural, educational, artistic, historical or entertainment purposes.

MCACA MiniGrants

For those organizations looking for project funding and professional development funds, it’s time to apply for round two of the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs Minigrants. The Minigrant program funds both Arts Projects and Professional and Organizational Development grants. The Arts Project Minigrants provide funding for locally-developed, high-quality arts and cultural projects that are free or low cost to area residents. The Professional and Organizational Development Minigrants assist non-profit organizations, administrators and professional artists, supporting unique experiences such as attending conferences, workshops and seminars or hiring short-term consultants.

Young Creatives Program

The Young Creatives Program grants funds for scholarships that provide access to summer-time arts classes/camps for youth in the Lansing area. Funded by the Arts Council of Greater Lansing through its Arts Advancement Endowment Fund and the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union, grants of up $1,500 will be awarded for the provision of arts scholarships for youth ages 5-17 with financial need to attend arts-related classes and programs. Local non-profit organizations that provide programming dedicated to arts and cultural projects may apply. Register for the Young Creatives grant workshop which will be held on Jan. 27.
