Arts Council of Greater Lansing Announces $24,500 in Grants
The Arts Council of Greater Lansing is pleased to announce its fiscal year 2026 grant recipients for the Greater Lansing Region. Area artists and arts and cultural organizations who are members of the Arts Council will receive funding totaling $24,500 in support of their work. The funds will provide resources for community-driven placemaking projects, youth arts programming, and professional development opportunities and business resources.
“Being able to award these funds to our area artists, arts and cultural organizations and youth organizations is such an honor,” said Meghan Martin, Arts Council executive director. “These awardees bring so much to the community through their creative programming, and offering them support through these grants, provides multiple arts and cultural experiences for the entire community.”
This year, the Arts Council awarded grants through the following programs:
Young Creatives, which provides dollars and scholarships to area member organizations providing youth arts programming. These grants are funded through the Arts Council’s endowment funds and Michigan State University Federal Credit Union.
