Each year in December, the Arts Council brings together Lansing’s growing arts community to kick off the holiday season at its annual Holiday Glitter. Now in its 35th year, this popular event brings together area artists and arts supporters in jubilation of the arts scene in the Greater Lansing area.
Puttin’ on the ritz!
This year is no exception! It’s going to be one ritzy evening ladies and gentlemen! So step right up and get your tickets or pledge your support for the Arts Council’s Holiday Glitter Spectacular! The fun takes place on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at the University Club of MSU.
The evening will kick off with a swanky social hour, including appetizers, desserts, wine, beer and java; we’ll also take a moment to put our hands together for our annual Applause awardees and then it’s on with the show!
The bee’s knees!
Yes folks the joint will be hopping for this vaudeville extravaganza, featuring the Lansing Unionized Vaudeville
Spectacle (LUVS). Get ready for a fun-filled concoction of music, mixing and mingling and a few clever bits and gags. We hope to see you all there dolled up in your favorite glad rags! Of course, vaudeville/roaring twenties attire and slang are encouraged.

Last year our Holiday Glitter and Jazz drew more than 170 attendees, and with the LUVS taking the stage this year, we are expecting the numbers and the excitement to grow. Patron support enables the Arts Council to consult with and provide opportunities for area artists and arts organizations as well as grow support for the arts in our community. Patron opportunities are available to individuals only. Patron tickets are $150 per person.
