Meet Heather
Heather Majano is the Art Festival and Art Initiatives Coordinator for the City of East Lansing, where she has been organizing events for more than 12 years and the East Lansing Art Festival for four! She also coordinates the art initiatives in East Lansing, including the Percent for Art requirement, the acquisition of art through the Public Art Fund and coordination of the Cultural Arts Grants with the Arts Commission. This year will mark the 61st annual East Lansing Art Festival taking place on May 18 and 19 in downtown East Lansing. The festival will include nearly 200 artists and two full days of performers, interactive artist demonstrations, food trucks and more!
