The Arts Council has created an expansive program for youth in the tri-county area, officially launching the Young Creatives Program in April 2014. The program offers five key components to support arts and arts education for our young creatives.

Our valuable work over the course of the last year to recognize and support emerging talent in elementary through high school has also been recognized by Michigan State University Federal Credit Union. We want to thank them for their generous financial support that will help fund printing, marketing, expanded scholarships and other associated program costs.

All of our hard work is paying off as we continue to mold and shape and brainstorm…we are committed to growing the Young Creatives Program and providing more creative opportunities and outlets for area youth. We hope that you will take advantage of all the creative, innovative and affordable art programs that are offered in our community.

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
- Maya Angelou
