"City Pulse" staff will review all submissions and make final decisions for placement. The review team will base their decisions on the following criteria:
Artists will be notified upon acceptance if they have been chosen as a cover artist.
Auction of Artwork
Chosen "City Pulse" cover artists must donate their original artwork to the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, who will then auction the pieces to raise money for the Arts Council's Young Creatives Program. Artists will be compensated 30% of the winning bid on their artwork. (Artists will keep the work in their possession until it is sold.)
In addition to having their image on the front cover, a short bio on the artist will also appear elsewhere within the "City Pulse" publication.
