Meet the Grantees!
Katie created a series of six encaustic paintings, each representing a significant milestone in her son Ethan's life. Ethan was born severely disabled and lived only six years. Katie's creation and exhibition of this body of work will capture her memories of Ethan, allow her to heal, and help others experiencing similar struggles or loss. The opening reception for the works will be held on November 7, 2014 at Fenner Nature Center, with the exhibition following at Community Mental Health Offices for Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties from November 10 - December 19, 2014.
